Since 2003
TC Tool Co. LLC was founded in 2003 in Moses Lake, Washington by Dale Kingma, John Stowers and Tim Woodworth.
Tim, who was a truck driver for a local trucking company, had an idea for a tool that he hoped would make the installation of tire chains easier. He discussed his idea with Dale, who was the service manager at the company he worked for, and John, who owns and operates a local welding company. They did some research and found that such a tool did not exist. John spent several months creating and fine tuning the tool. Once the tool was perfected, it took another several months to find a company that could mass produce them. What started out as a coat hanger to a hay hook is now the ultimate tire chain installation tool that we call the Chain Dawg, and is proudly manufactured in the USA.
